Daily Kos: I think we’ve now learned that Joe Lieberman is the smartest politician in DC. He knew Democrats were spineless capitulators who would cave at the merest threat no matter how many times he shit in their face.

    It demonstrates that AIPAC has a lot of influence. Most elected Democrats supported Lieberman’s election to the senate even though he lost the primary. Is it any wonder that 0ver 90% of Americans surveyed believe that our elected officials do not pay attention to what the people want?
