Two words for the National Rifle Association today:

Fuck. You.

Thanks to the incessant efforts of the NRA and other guns-above-all folks, it is now trivially easy for people with twisted minds and/or criminal intent to get guns. So now, the all-guns-all-the-time logic holds, the rest of us need to arm ourselves — and hell, carry around concealed weapons — for protection.

The gun lobby has created the arms race, and profits from its escalation. Its leaders are beyond cynical. And America suffers.
